It's Camellia time. You can't argue with how prett

It's Camellia time. You can't argue with how pretty a Camellia flower is but I do hate how they go brown so quickly and often stay on the plant looking a bit scruffy. I will admire them from afar but not allow them into my garden.

My early tulips are bringing such a much needed po

My early tulips are bringing such a much needed pop of colour and joy on these wet Devon days.
It's so lovely to see things springing back into life in my gardens after a long winter.
These are Tupip Apricotta, they are in their 3rd year now and more of a coral colour (in real life) being such an early tulip they're worth they're space and I am loving the glow out of my window.
Ps. Look how big my garden helper has got!

The dreaded covid has got me. The bright side is I can enjoy these tulips in my garden, but watering a few plants meant I needed a lie down! Hopefully I'll be back out and about next week. 😏
Interestingly these tulips are an early variety called Apricot Beauty but seem to have reverted to a more coral colour this year.
